Tube Notcher Machine

 

 

Brief:

To design and manufacture an automated notching machine to cut a notch into tubes that draw liquid from the bottom of a container.

 

Purpose:

To improve flow of liquids from the base of the bottle via a tube which fits into a variety of liquid spray applicators and drink bottles.

 

Solution:

An automated machine that integrates directly with the tube extrusion machine, cutting variable sized tubes and notches to match extrusion rates of 1800 tubes / Hour.

 

The tube notcher machine allowed our customer to:
