Injection Moulds

 

Our well-equipped tool room and up to date CAD/CAM software ensures we offer the very best in precision engineering.  Our design and engineering capabilities achieve high tolerances and accuracy levels to ± 0.005mm off the CNC.

 

We understand the process that goes into tooling and how injection moulds must be carefully designed to facilitate the moulding process it’s intended for.  The materials, the shape, features and properties of the mould are all carefully considered, that’s why we work closely with our clients to achieve the desired outcome.

 

We have experience in the design and manufacturing of a broad range of different types of moulds including:

• Hot runner and manifold moulds
• 2 shot tools/co-moulds
• Complex part-lines/slides/stripper plates/multi-cavity
• Different surface finishes
• Thin wall packaging moulds
• Low cost/prototype moulds

 

We use a variety of materials to ensure the highest quality products including:

• P20/Nimax
• H13
• Alumec/high tensile aluminum
• Stainless tool steels
• Beryllium Copper
• Cast iron/mild steel and more.

 

We also have the capability to undertake some heat-treatment on site.

 

We undertake our own Plastics Flow analysis. This provides predictability to you of the final product quality.  It also provides predictability of the mould cycle time.
